Our Story

Founded in October 2025, the Irish American Society of the Jersey Shore was born out of a shared passion for celebrating Irish-American heritage and honoring the rich history of Irish-American contributions. What started as a vision quickly became a reality, culminating in the first community meeting in December 2025.

From the very beginning, the initial response from the shore community was overwhelmingly positive. The incredible enthusiasm confirmed that there is a deep, vibrant desire for a dedicated space where local individuals can connect, share, and ensure the story of the Irish-American experience continues to thrive.

We currently have approximately 110 members and welcome new members and guests to our events.
